I don’t think my dad actually understands what CHRONIC illness means. I’m always in pain but that doesn’t mean I’m going to lose what little social life I have.

Same here. My family and hubby means well, but I need to be able to go out and have fun every once in a while… even if it takes up all of my spoons for the week.
